Fair "DEMATERIALISER 2008" |
|
Fedaso at the fair DEMATERIALISER 2008 in Paris, la Grande Arche, on December 9 and 10.
Dematerialising information means replacing a document by an image, but it also means extracting part or whole of the information, in order to do subsequent IT treatments. It is indeed an essential step in the process, as the quality of secondary treatments will totally rely on it.
This is however exactly where we find the weak link in the chain. A weak link that is not necessarily identified but that can be quite harmful to the other links in the information chain. The reliability of recognition software can absolutely not be compared to the one of the software that will be used to save, index or process information. And this is even more valid in case data is being captured manually.
What are the stakes of data capture ? What tools, software, what precautions can you take, what are the procedures that you should implement in-house in order to insure quality data capture ? How can you set up the instructions in case a project is being outsourced ? If you are yourself responsible for the creation of your document, what are the golden rules for the conception, in order to maximise the quality of data capture ? What is the level of quality that can be achieved ? How to measure quality ? What are the controls to implement ?
Answers on December 9th and 10th, on fair DEMATERIALISER 2008, la Grande Arche, Paris.

The "Meetings of Fez" - 2007 |
|
The "Meetings of Fez", edition 2008, was a big success again in the opinion of the participants coming from different European countries.
About fifty people, all involved and interested in data capture, got the opportunity to share their experience, their vision and their strategy about dematerialization in an extraordinary environment.
Why in Fez? Because it is there where Fedaso’s production unit is located, because Fez is the oldest and the most beautiful imperial city of Morocco.

To stay at the top of the technology is a must for Fedaso.
Listen to the needs of our clients, to respect the project specifications, to assure a constant quality, in the agreed delays, are other ones.
But what if, despite the thousands precautions taken, the target was not yet reached?
Fedaso has investigated: during the 1st semester of 2007, Fedaso has sent to all her clients a large satisfaction survey.
Aim is to know where precisely we still have to make improvements.
Our clients need certainties. We do as well.
