Many industries are aware of the importance of a reliable database. This reliability can only be guaranteed through perfect capture, which ensures retranscription that is as good as the original.
This is because, once captured, the original document is abandoned in favour of its electronic version. This version is just as good, or even better than, the original, because Fedaso also restructures and standardises certain data.
The address, for example, is a critical piece of information, as shown in the following examples:
Incoming invoices: if the information contained is not meticulously captured, the reliability of all of the accounts is uncertain.
Workflow: If, following data capture, erroneous information slips into the source of a digital flow, the workflow’s functioning suffers as a result.
Health insurance: if handwritten information added to a document is not correctly captured, the entire dossier may be lost in the maze of the various departments.
Administrative and financial documents: this is an area where, by definition, accuracy is critical (customs declaration forms, capture of balance sheets, registrations of companies, company registers, car registrations, etc.)
Distance selling: if the address block is not 100% correct, the order will not be delivered to the right address or else, it will be impossible to gain remedy for an unpaid order.
Consumer surveys: if the boxes to be ticked are not recognized 100% accurately, the survey’s results will be altered and it will not be possible to use said results.
Satisfaction surveys: if the open questions are not properly decoded (verbatims), the result of the survey will also be distorted.
CRM: if an address block is incorrect, you will not be able to find a client in the database.
Various subscriptions: if the person’s name is misspelled, the person will become irritated and will see this mistake when receiving every issue and hold you responsible. |
